Put the 3rd and final coat on the inside. May need to touch up a few places, but looks not too bad. Also put a second coat of varnish on the rear foot braces. They are ready to go in now.

Rear Deck
Put the rear deck on this afternoon. All went well I think. Masked the sides and inside well to catch any drips. Nailed at 3" intervals and used a couple of tie down straps to help pull the plywood into the curve. Also trimmed the deck beam which was a bit high after a trial fitting of the front deck.

More Sanding
Sanded the ends which were reinforced with fiberglass tape, and then the rest of the hull. Still not sure if I need to sand more or apply more epoxy. Don't want to sand down to the fiberglass cloth. Planed the sheer clamps while the kayak was outside as well. The rear looks ok, but need to finish off the middle and front. Used the electric planer to get started and the used the hand plane.

End Pours
Started the end pours yesterday. Two pours so far in the rear and one in the front. The tape didn't stick too well to the front one so there were some leaks, but the back one held well. Need to add some more today to top them up.
